At age 9, I received my first drum set from my grandpa, it was a classic 1950s Ludwig kit. From there the passion to play the drums began. I have studied drums and percussion in Canada and the US and enjoy playing and listening to many different genres of music. I have provided groove and feel for orchestras, jazz, funk, church, and rock bands on stage, in coffee houses, and in studio settings for over 30 years. The challenge to "play what is right for the song" is what continues to develop my style as a drummer. Currently, I am drumming for hard rocker Matt Cory, provide tracks for Entwined Music and Production in Calgary, and work with a variety of artists across Canada and the US both in the studio and for live events.
